There are 5 fixed buoys that are in regular use by BMYC. Their positions are:

| 2 | Sussex Yachts | N50° 47.64' W00° 08.40' |
| 3 | Neilson | N50° 46.60' W00° 07.00' |
| 4 | Felix 4 | N50° 47.20' W00° 05.20' |
| 6 | John Rolfe | N50° 47.411' W00° 06.731' |
Occasionally on long races the following 2 fixed buoys may be used:
| 5 | Friar Bay | N50° 45.80' W00° 00.536' |
| 7 | Shoreham New Sewer | N50° 47.70' W00° 13.80' |
