BMYC Regatta

In 2010, the BMYC Regatta was held on the 7th-9th May. This Regatta was an open event. Members of neighbouring yacht clubs were very welcome to participate and did. This regatta forms part of the Sussex Championship.

What a great BMYC Regatta it was. The turnout of boats was the best for a number of years. The weather allowed the full number of races with a good variety of wind conditions. The race officer was excellent. And some of the races were very close and hard-fought. Although the IRC 1 and 1720 fleets saw runaway wins, the IRC 2 and PY fleets saw much more competition with the latter only being won by countback.

Congratulations to the winners - Joe 90 (IRC 1), Redeye (IRC 2), All Talk (1720) and Heavens Above (PY).

Thanks to the organising committee, sponsors and those providing off the water food and entertainment.
