Brighton Marina Yacht Club was initiated in 1978. Its first club premises were floating - on the MV Medina, which was moored in the marina. Since then the club has had a number of different premises and its present site is still temporary.

Despite this the club has some distinct advantages. It is sited in a thriving part of the city with large numbers of people passing near its doors. Access to the sea is excellent with no lock gates blocking access for the vast majority of moorings. There are many shops and restaurants nearby and the marina is the largest in the UK.

The club is looking forward to have new and more permanent accommodation. See the Clubhouse section for more details.

The club has a bar with excellent prices as well as good food. See the Bar and Food section for opening times. There are several sections of the club catering for yacht racing, sail cruising, motor cruising as well as diving.

We welcome passing yachtmen and sailors to visit the Club and use our facilities. We are always welcoming new members.
